Hello, my name is Allen R. Triplett (ART) I am a visual artist from California. I studied game design at the Art Institute of Inland Empire and as a Studio Art in Palm Springs. I am known for abstract expressionist paintings that combine aesthetics of graffiti and fine art. I have a neurological condition known as synesthesia, when i hear sounds my brain reacts with color shape, texture and direction. I record what i hear on canvass because i feel that many songs have more of a story to tell than just auditory experiences.

 

Painting has always been a way for me to get in touch with my inner voice. My art is a compilation of what i hear and my human experiences, Art for me has always been my way of screaming. A scream can mean many things such as passion, joy, confusion, loss, anger or just to be heard. Everyone has their own scream, i just like to explore mine. Sometimes being an artist can be difficult because each time you create you dissect a part of yourself and incorporate it into your work which can make it difficult to let go of an art piece, but with each piece you learn and grow. My goal as an artist is to turn the negative experiences of my life and turn them into something positive for others.
